Skilled General Operative. West. Irlanda

Flannery's Hotel are looking to recruit a skilled general operative to assist with preventative maintenance & refurbishments at the property.  

The role will involve:

Assisting as part of the team responsible for the routine maintenance and upkeep of the hotel facilities, and refurbishment of hotel.

Co-ordinating contractors when required.

Checking all engineering systems on a regular basis.

Always ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Ensuring all work carried out increases ease of service and guest satisfaction.    

Dealing with all service and product guarantees and warranties.      

Carrying out inspection on public areas daily in case of problems arising unexpectedly.      

Working and assisting on future renovation projects

Carrying out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms.

Candidates must have at least 2 years practical experience in maintenance/carpentry; experience in using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns; excellent attention to detail and a very good knowledge of different carpentry materials; self-motivated with good organizational capabilities. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company are required
