Slieve Foy tool & Die LTD is a precision engineering company specialising in the manufacturing of spare parts for the medical devices industry.

An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Toolmaker. We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with preferred experience with EDM & CNC machining, but not essential as training will be provided. Top rates of pay will be offered to a suitable candidate based on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITEIS:

Machine high quality precision tooling parts according to engineering drawings provided

Ensuring all specification/tolerances are met on all tooling parts manufactured

Programme set up and operate CNC machines

Ensure that work completed consistently meets design specification and highest engineering and quality standards.

Continuously improving efficiency when manufacturing parts

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of toolroom equipmentMaintain toolroom cleanliness

REQUIREMENTS:

Fully qualified toolmaker

Ability to take ownership of one’s own work and self-manage schedules and deadlines.

Ability to understand mechanical drawings for tool assembly

Excellent communication skills

Flexibility

Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

Excellent attention to quality and detail

Ability to operate toolroom equipment – lathes, mills, surface grinders

EDM & CNC machining advantageous but not essential

SALARY:

Competivie Salary (€40,000 +), negotabile based on experience.

Top rates of pay will be offered to suitable candidate.

SCHEDULE:

Full time permanent

Monday-Friday

39hours a week

5 years work experience required.
