Motion Graphics Designer. Dublin. Irlanda

Simply Social are seeking a skilled Motion Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and animating high-quality video content that will engage our audience and help us achieve our goals. The motion graphic designer should have experience in design and animation tools, be familiar with the latest industry trends, and have excellent communication skills to work closely with clients, producers, and other members of the team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

10+ years experience with 2D and 3D motion graphic design tools such as After Effects or Cinema 4D.

Fluency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools.

Prior experience working in a creative/design marketing agency.

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, design, and video editing principles.

Proven experience operating a camera and working production roles e.g. Camera Operator, Director or Producer.

Familiarity with static design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva and Figma comfortable with color correction and colour-grading.

Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

A portfolio showcasing your previous motion graphics work.

A degree-level qualification in video production.

Preferred Qualifications:

Animation and design specialist comfortable working on large campaigns.

Familiarity with static design and copywriting.

Proficiency with stills photography.

Experience producing various kinds of videos, including promotional videos, social media content, paid adverts and explainer videos.

Comfortable managing and delegating work to a production team.

Experience in training or upskilling other members of your production team.

Knowledge of current video trends and best practices across digital platforms.

Passion for visual design and video production.
