What will your job look like?

The Credit Controller is responsible for managing the credit control functions within the finance

department, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and minimizing the risk of bad debts. You

play a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing financial risks for the company. 

Your responsibilities include:

Debt Collection:

 Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to secure payment.

 Work together closely with the Sales team to align efforts. Propose payment plans or alternative

solutions.

 Escalate unresolved issues to management if required.

 Contacting collection companies

Customer Relations:

 Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payment.

 Address customer inquiries and resolve any disputes or discrepancies.

 Provide assistance and support to internal stakeholders regarding credit-related matters.

Credit Management:

 Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers, manage the credit insurance status.

 Challenge credit limits and payment terms with the sales team

Reporting and Analysis:

 Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and collections status.

 Analyze payment trends and identify areas for improvement.
