I am looking for a skilled and experienced carpenter to join Smalltime Woodshop to help grow the company. As a carpenter, you will work independently under the direction of the company owner and be responsible for designing and manufacturing custom furniture and fixtures, including kitchens, walk-in closets, and other built-in units that meet our customers' specific needs and preferences. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality furniture that matches their visions.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and manufacturing custom furniture and fixtures in accordance with customer visions.
• Precise measurement of spaces and ensuring accurate installations of built-in furniture.
• Collaboration with the company owner and customers to develop detailed plans and sketches.
• Selection of high-quality materials and hardware for each project.
• Application of advanced carpentry skills to construct, assemble, and refine furniture with precision and attention to detail.
• Installation of furniture at customers' locations and ensuring functionality and compliance with design plans.
• Maintenance of the workshop and tools for a safe and efficient working environment.
• Compliance with relevant safety standards and building codes.
• Ongoing updating of skills and knowledge in carpentry and design.
• Providing excellent customer service through communication with customers to ensure their full satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and ability to work precisely and efficiently.
• Ability to remain calm in pressured situations.
• Experience in similar positions is an advantage.
• Business skills a big plus.
• Ability to independently handle advanced carpentry tasks from customer visits, measurements, planning, execution, and installation.
• A driver's license is required as tasks are carried out throughout Zealand.

You should be aware that with us, no two days are the same, and you should expect to have different meeting locations throughout Zealand. Though we mainly work in greater Copenhagen.
