Main Responsibilities

• The AMDS Head of leadership development works with the 9 AMDS Business Divisions (Total +1,435 FTEs) by leading and coordinating the Talent, Performance Management, Succession Planning Process and Leadership Development training across AMDS.

• Segment representative in global Leadership Panel, Learning Panel and People Development Group initiatives as required. Makes significant contributions and has a high impact on the development and continuous improvement of HR and LD strategy and policies on AMDS level and AM Group level and oversees their implementation across AMDS.

• Acts as advisor for the 9 BD entities to further develop their organization into a high-performance entity and challenges strategic issues. Initiates, develops, and promotes best practices across AMDS to build right people and organizational solutions to execute against the business strategy.

• Leads the people lifecycle management and all HR key processes on Segment level for M scope and Exempts central teams: performance management, bonus calculations, salary reviews, competency needs identification and development, training management, succession planning, employee motivation and engagement, employee climate surveys, recruitments, HR systems, on- and offboarding and budget.

• Develop, support and challenge mangers in driving a performance culture through reward mgt, mentoring, coaching. Advised senior executive in decision making process through different selections criteria and facilitating leadership and competency assessments.

• Providing guidance, advice, and support for employee relation issues in compliance with employment law, company policy and best practice employee relations. Help teams develop strong diversity and inclusion practices.

• Designs solutions for the HR AMDS Digital journey (Onboarding and Learning paths, Mentoring, PowerBI dashboard LD) and ad hoc HR projects.

• Leads AMDS Diversity & Inclusion framework deployment.

• Acts as HR Business Partner for AMDS Segment Corporate teams: Finances, Business Development and Business Center of Excellence.

Motivation & Engagement

• Facilitates Speak Up+ engagement survey deployment across the Segment. Advisor for favourable organizational climate & employee engagement in AMDS, coordination of climate surveys and implementation of effective action plans at central level and activities that increases engagement score, diversity and inclusion score and wellbeing score.

• Leads and drive a culture that fully aligns with the ArcelorMittal values and create an environment where employees are highly engaged, feel safe and valued. Advises the BDs to build up strong teams through facilitation of team building and other team development interventions. Drives for continuous improvement in Motivations and Engagement.

Performance Management, Talent Management & Succession Planning

• Leads the employee appraisal and development cycle (GEDP) and coordinates the process to be followed with quality and consistency across AMDS (objective setting, PDPs, CVs, MYR, succession planning, career committees, year-end reviews, ratings moderation and comments, talent identification, career- and development discussions, exit interviews for exempts, etc.), Non-Exempt performance evaluation and promotion.

• Leads the Talent Development at AMDS Segment level and utilise the tools and the information they generate to identify the leaders of the future. Takes the role of a coach and work closely with senior Leaders and the HR teams in context of executive career advisory. Partnering with the Corporate L&D teams and participate in Global L&D projects and initiatives.

• Takes significant impacting role in continuously improve all L&D and HR processes on AMDS and Group Level. Act as testing hub for the AM group and to roll out global group projects. Being an expert in HR/LD industry best practices, constantly understanding the pulse on new trends and initiatives, develop and implements HR/LD strategies for AMDS.

Learning and Development

• Coordinates Leadership development policies and training opportunities within the Business Division (Onboarding, Mentoring, Coaching, Talent Pipeline, TAP, Women career pathing, AMU offer, Functional Academies, etc.). Identifies on Segment level future competency needs based on the SWFP and succession planning and develops competency development strategy and initiatives.

• Promotion of the AMU and Functional Academy offer across AMDS, work closely with AMU team to develop new training and learning initiatives.

HR Lead AMDS Corporate Functions:

• Leads the employee appraisal cycle (GEDP) and coordinates the process to be followed with quality and consistency (objective setting, PDPs, CVs, MYR, succession planning, career committees, year-end reviews, ratings moderation and comments, talent identification, career- and development discussions, exit interviews for exempts, etc.), Non-Exempt performance evaluation and promotion.

• Provide support and advise to managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve HR issues including, but not limited to, performance management, conflict management, coaching, development, employee relations, compensation, internal mobility, staff retention, talent acquisition, headcount and position management, talent and team development and compliance.

• Acts as HR Business Partner for employees on the full employee lifecycle, from hiring, onboarding, to learning, development, career, compensations & rewards and exiting/transition/internal movements.

Education :

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology and related sector

Skills & Specifications :

• Previous experience in Leadership Development, DEI, Motivation & Engagement, Performance Management, Talent Management,

Succession Planning, Learning & Development

Work experience requirements :

• At least 8 years of experience

Languages :  

• English is mandatory. Mastery of additional one or more European language is a plus.
