CE Supervisor. Dublin. Irlanda

STAR Project Ballymun is a Drug Rehabilitation, Family Support service and Outreach Team based in Ballymun. We are actively recruiting a Community Employment Supervisor to work in our Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation programme.

We work from a person centred evidence based ethos, making use of various approaches with an overarching emphasis on Trauma Informed care. One of our main approaches includes the Resonance Factor so an understanding of this way of working would be helpful but not essential. Our service prides itself on making strong and real connections with service users, to support  growth  and progression. Staff take part in Individual and group supervision, as part of their work, as well as an expectation that staff are personally taking care of their own growth.

We are seeking a CE Supervisor on a full time basis to work in our Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Programme. The successful candidate will have skills in the following:

•    Key working

•    Group facilitation

•    Delivery of various training sessions in conjunction with the Programme Co ordinator

•    Case Management

•    Assisting with administration of the CE scheme with another CE Supervisor who deals with the administration

It is essential that you have a strong track record (at least 2 years) in working in the area of substance use and an understanding of community development.  A relevant Major 3rd Level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) related to working with people to provide support is desirable eg. Diploma in Addiction Studies/ Social studies, Social work etc.

Salary will align with the current Community Employment grant funding scale for CE Supervisors – commencing on Point 1 of the Department of Social Protection CE Supervisor Salary Scale ( €33,259.72 annually )
